Another big name has committed to playing in the inaugural 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine this summer.

The newest commit to the July 4-7 PGA Tour event is former world No. 1 Jason Day, who joins prior big-name commits Patrick Reed and Bryson DeChambeau in the field, which will undoubtedly add big names prior to the late-June deadline.

Day is ranked 11th in the current World Golf Rankings while Reed is 15th and DeChambeau is fifth.

What about Tiger Woods?

According to the Star Tribune, 3M Open tournament director Hollis Cavner has been recruiting Woods, along with the likes of Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler, among other stars.

The entire event will span the Week of July 1-7, with round one of the tournament on the Fourth of July. The holiday-week tourney will include a fireworks show on Friday, July 5, in addition to Zach Brown Band performing live at the nearby National Sports Center.

Tickets are available for all tournament events right here. Prices for single-day golf general admission cost $30-$45 while a weeklong pass runs $240. Tickets to see Zach Brown Band are priced at $225 or $400 and come with a pass to one round of golf.
