Four teenagers were injured in a car crash Thursday night, prompting the high school football team they play for to postpone one of its games.

The four teens on the Faribault High School football team were injured when the SUV they were traveling in collided with a tractor trailer near Owatonna, the Faribault Daily News reports.

The driver of the SUV, 16-year-old Henry E. Sanchez, was transported to Owatonna Hospital with "incapacitating" injuries, Owatonna Police said in a news release.

Three other football players, two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old, were taken to area hospitals with "non-incapacitating" injuries.

The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured. Police say all parties were wearing seat belts and drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been involved.

The Daily News adds that students were driving home after watching Faribault's volleyball team play Rochester Mayo.

As a result of the crash, Faribault's high school football game against Mankato East originally scheduled for Friday night has been rescheduled to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Sanchez is listed as a junior outside linebacker and running back on his Hudl page.
