Four Minnesota Lynx players are among the 25 finalists competing to make the U.S. Olympic team.

Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles, Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen are among those who could compete in a training camp next month to try to make the final 12-player squad, the WNBA announced Monday.

That camp will be Feb. 21-23 in Connecticut – the home base of Team USA (and University of Connecticut) head coach Geno Auriemma. Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve is an assistant coach. Exactly which of the 25 finalists participates will be announced later.

The Lynx have the most finalist representation of any WNBA team with their quartet, but all 12 professional squads are represented.

The women's squad is coming off a 2014 FIBA championship, with Moore tying for the team lead in scoring. Augustus and Whalen were also part of that group.

The trio, as well as Fowles (though she's wasn't with Minnesota yet) were also part of the 2012 Olympic team that took gold.

The 2016 Olympic Games start Aug. 5. The women's team will be going for its sixth straight gold medal.
