Aaron Rodgers says it’s time to let the healing process begin.

The Packers quarterback says Green Bay should retire Brett Favre’s famous No. 4.

In a radio interview with Jim Rome, Rodgers says it should be done before Favre is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Earlier this month, Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy told Green Bay reporters that said he wanted Favre "back in the family" and expressed his desire to retire Favre's number at "the right time for him and us."

Favre and Rodgers made a surprise joint appearance at the NFL Honors awards show earlier this year. While Rodgers said the reunion between the two former teammates "felt great," some writers thought it came off a bit awkward.
