Aaron Rodgers won a celebrity episode of Jeopardy! in 2015 and he'll soon be seen as a guest host of the trivia game show.
Rodgers, who has the Green Bay Packers in the NFC playoffs as the No. 1 seed, said on The Pat McAfee Show Tuesday that his guest-hosting gig has already been recorded and will be televised "pretty soon."
"One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek," said Rodgers. "They're doing some guest hosting spots and it's going to be released here pretty soon, but I had the opportunity to be one of those."
Rodgers is among a number of celebrities filling in as guest host for Alex Trebek, who died Nov. 8 at the age of 80 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The final Jeopardy! episode with Trebek hosting was televised on Christmas Day.
The first episode with a guest host was broadcast Monday, featuring one of the show's greatest winners, Ken Jennings, serving as host.
"I'm excited about that opportunity," Rodgers added.
Note: BMTN didn't make fun of Rodgers or the Packers in this story, and that may be a first.
