Adam Thielen has agreed to a 4-year contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings.

The receiving ace joined the Vikings in 2013 as an undrafted free agent on a contract of just $1.48M over three years.

Fast-forward to today, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL and has been rewarded with a big contract for his labors.

The four-year deal was confirmed by The Institute for Athletes on Instagram, which said: "Congrats to our guy @athielen19 on his well deserved four-year extension with the @vikings!"

The deal is worth $64 million over the four years, $35 million of which is guaranteed, which could rise to $73 million with incentives.

Thielen is a native of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and played college ball at MSU-Mankato.

In the 2018 season, Thielen finished with 113 catches for 1,373 yards and 9 touchdowns.

He was due to earn around $8 million in the 2019 season based on the contract he signed in 2017.
