Peterson off PUP list, takes part in practice

The Minnesota Vikings have activated All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson from the physically unable to perform list. The Pioneer Press reports he took part in the Sunday morning walk-through, but he won't be able to put on full pads until Tuesday. The newspaper notes Peterson is still not cleared to play in a live game or take a hit during practice.

Adrian Peterson removed the walking boot from his sprained left ankle Friday, but he was still unable to practice. Head coach Leslie Frazier says Peterson is “very, very doubtful” for Sunday’s game in Atlanta. The only players who are officially out for the game are Husain Abdullah and Anthony Herrera.
