SEATTLE -- Another Sunday, and another rookie has his way with the Vikings.

Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes -- two to Golden Tate, one to ex-Viking Sidney Rice -- to lead the Seahawks to a 30-20 win over Minnesota Sunday at CenturyLink Field.

Running back Marshawn Lynch also scored for Seattle, on a three-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder struggled all afternoon, passing for just 63 yards, including one interception. He was also sacked four times.

After the game, Vikings coach Leslie Frazier was asked by KFAN-FM 100.3 if he considered putting in backup Joe Webb. Frazier said: "Absolutely not."

"We are struggling in a lot of areas," Frazier added in his postgame news conference. "When you run the ball as well as we did, it opens up a lot of things in the passing game. And that didn't happen today."

"We know we have to get better," Ponder said afterwards. "It's all fixable. We just have to do it.

"We're good at throwing the ball. I just have to do a better job."

While the Minnesota passing game was anemic, the running game was robust, led by Adrian Peterson. He rushed for two touchdowns, and on the day had 182 yards on 17 carries. His  74-yard run on the first series of the game set up an early touchdown for the Vikings, as Peterson punched it into the end zone from 1-yard out.

Blair Walsh added two field goals for Minnesota, one from 36-yards out and another from 55-yards away.

With the loss, the Vikings fall to third place in the NFC North, with a 5-4 record. They face Detroit at Mall of America Field next Sunday.
