A big night from Oswaldo Arcia helped propel the Twins to a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night, at Target Field.

Arcia finished 2 for 4 with 4RBIs on the night. He gave the Twins a pair of leads, with a couple of big hits. In the fourth, Arcia crushed a three-run homer to put the Twins on top 4-1.

After Milwaukee had tied the game up following a three-run bomb from Aramis Ramirez, Arcia came through again with a big two out, two-strike single to score Josh Willingham and reclaim a 5-4 lead, for the Twins, in the seventh.

The win for the Twins was their seventh victory in eight games against the Brewers since 2012.

Arcia's big single in the bottom of the seventh came at the perfect time for Twins starter Ricky Nolasco. He was going to leave the game in the eighth inning, so the single allowed him to earn the victory.

Casey Fien and Glen Perkins shut the door in the eighth and ninth respectively.

Fien fanned former Twins outfielder Carlos Gomez to end the eighth inning. Perkins made quick work of the Brewers in a three up, three down ninth inning, for his 16th save.

Willingham also was 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored and Brian Dozier had two hits and scored a run.

The win moves the Twins back within a game of .500 at 28-29. They will close the series with the Brewers tomorrow, during 80's day at Target Field.
