Terry Steinbach, now 50, isn't playing baseball anymore. The former Twins catcher is now an assistant coach on Wayzata's varsity high school team. Steinbach spent the last seven years playing in a 35-and-older-league, which he would recommend to anyone who can't get away from the game.

Perkins still in Minnesota with forearm injury

While the Twins are in New York playing the Yankees, Glen Perkins is still in Minnesota. Perkins complained of a tender forearm and an MRI scan revealed irritation in his forearm. General manager Terry Ryan says Perkins is "day-to-day", but he'll remain in Minnesota until at least Wednesday.
