Ageless wonder Bartolo Colon isn't ready to retire yet.

According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, Colon plans to pitch in 2018. The veteran right hander will turn 44 in May.

Colon finished the 2017 season with the Twins after he was signed as a free agent in July. He began the season with the Atlanta Braves but they parted ways after Colon dangled an ERA up near nine in the first three months of the season.

The former Cy Young winner ended up being an innings eater down the stretch for Minnesota and he nearly cut his ERA in half (5.18) after signing with the Twins.

Although he provided some value to the Twins – and the fan base – Minnesota would be better served looking at other options to improve their starting pitching.

The 2018 season would be Colon's 21st in the big leagues. He's made stops in Cleveland, Chicago, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Oakland, New York and Atlanta.

He's also the last remaining active player who played for the Montreal Expos – who are now the Washington Nationals.
