We could write a big game recap for you, but all you need to know is that the Minnesota Lynx are a just too dang good for any other team to keep up.
Minnesota closed the game on a 20-8 run to come from behind and beat the Washington Mystics 93-83. The victory gives the Lynx a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five WNBA semifinal series.
Sylvia Fowles, named WNBA MVP about two hours before the game tipped off, led the Lynx with 25 points. Maya Moore was awesome with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Lindsay Whalen played 20 minutes in her second game back from a broken hand and finished with 9 points and a team high 7 assists.
The Lynx can advance to the WNBA Finals for the sixth time in the last seven years with one more win. Game 3 is 2 p.m. Saturday in Washington, D.C.
Game 4, if needed, is back in D.C. on Monday and Game 5 would be back in Minnesota on Wednesday.
