The 27-year old player gave a short speech to the students, thanking them for their support and condolences, according to the Star Tribune.

The kicker shared a little information about his life with the kids, who grilled Walsh on such hot button issues as whether or not he owned a guinea pig (he does not).
The Star Tribune has some quotes of kids reading their letters to Walsh – which proved to be utterly adorable.

The kids even crafted a thank-you sign to send home with the Kicker for coming to visit them, according to tweets. And FOX 9 says Walsh wrapped up his appearance by giving autographs and thanking the class again.
