The St. Louis Blues snapped the Wild's NHL-record tying, 12-game road winning streak Saturday with a 4-2 win as the Minnesota team closed out the regular season.

The Wild finish off their season 46-28-8, earning the wild card spot in the playoffs. They'll play the Blues or Ducks in the first round.

The Blues clinched the top seed in the Western Conference with the win, depending which team wins the Ducks-Coyotes game Saturday night.

According to NHL.com, the Blues will earn the top seed in the event the Ducks lose in regulation play, overtime or in a shootout, or if the Ducks win in the shootout.

Most of the action came halfway through the game after a scoreless first period. The Blues and Wild scored four combined goals in a six-minute stretch.

Marco Scandella scored the only Wild goal in that stretch.

Goalie Devan Dubnyk was replaced by Darcy Kuemper in the third.

The Blues scored one more five minutes into the third. Zach Parise hit a power play goal with 38 seconds left on the clock, bringing the final score to 4-2.

Mikko Koivu, Ryan Suter, Jared Spurgeon and Justin Fotaine sat out Saturday.
