The Minnesota Wild snapped their five game losing streak and broke out of their offensive slump with a 3-0 victory over the Los Angeles Kings Thursday night at Staples Center.

1. Parise ends the power play drought

Zach Parise ended the Wild's power play drought Thursday night. Minnesota came into the game 0-of-11 on the power play since the start of their five game losing streak.

2. Wild break the ice in the second period

After a scoreless first, the Wild broke the ice with a pair of goals in the second.

Parise put the Wild on the scoreboard, but Charlie Coyle made it 2-0 in the closing seconds of the period after Jared Spurgeon found him for a breakaway.

3. Kuemper sharp again in spot play

Darcy Kuemper has been sharp all season, when making spot starts for Devan Dubnyk and Thursday night was no exception, as Kuemper turned away shot after shot.

Kuemper finished the night with 32 saves, good for the seventh shutout of his career.
