A one-on-one interview between Brett Favre and Eric Perkins aired on KARE 11 after the Super Bowl Sunday night, and in it the two touched on a wide range of topics.

But maybe the most interesting portion for Vikings fans is the former quarterback's comments on the 2009 season, which started with helicopters above Winter Park and ended on a brutal interception in the NFC Championship Game.

"Magical. It was magical," Favre told Perkins. "I wish we would have gone all the way. I cherish that year. It's probably, of all the years I played, considering all the circumstances, it was my best year individually in how I played."
