Milwaukee Brewers 6

Minnesota Twins 5

Despite a couple of late-inning home runs from Byung Ho Park and Eddie Rosario, the Twins (4-10) dropped a game to the Brewers (6-8) thanks to some sloppy defense from Miguel Sano and Byron Buxton.

The Twins also struggled to hit with runners in scoring position, going 2-for-11 on the day.

1. Buxton error costs Twins late

Byron Buxton dropped the ball twice while trying to grab it with his bare hand after Milwaukee's Yadiel Rivera doubled off the wall in right-center field to lead off the ninth inning. Rivera ended up on third base and scored the winning run on a single by Scooter Gennett.

2. Sano whiffs on a line drive to right field

The Brewers opened the game up with three runs in the fifth inning thanks to a bad error by right fielder Miguel Sano and a past ball from Ervin Santana to catcher John Ryan Murphy.

3. Park, Rosario hit clutch home runs

Byung Ho Park launched a home run – his fourth of the season – into the upper deck in left field to make it a 5-3 game in the eighth inning, and Eddie Rosario crushed a two-run, game-tying homer to dead center field later in the inning.
