Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater made a lot of progress during his second season in the NFL.

Bridgewater completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 3,231 yards and 14 touchdowns to nine interceptions – making his first Pro Bowl and earning a trip to Hawaii.

The 23-year-old quarterback reflected on his sophomore season on Pro Football Talk Live Wednesday. Bridgewater's season showed a lot of successes, leading the Vikings to the NFC North Division Championship for the first time since 1999, and getting the Vikings back into the playoffs for the first time since 2012.

Despite the improvements on the field, Bridgewater believes he grew the most as a leader in year two.

The Star Tribune notes that Bridgewater joined some elite company when he was named an alternate on the Pro Bowl roster. Teddy became one of only eight active starting quarterbacks in the NFL to debut in the Pro Bowl during their rookie or second season.

Bridgewater played well in the game, hitting on 6-of-8 passes for 129 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

He wasn't the only young signal caller in this year's Pro Bowl – Oakland's second-year starter Derek Carr and Tampa Bay rookie Jameis Winston also played in the game.

The list also includes both of the starting quarterbacks in this year's Super Bowl – Peyton Manning, who made the Pro Bowl in 1999, during his second season and Cam Newton, who played in the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2011.

Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Andy Dalton are the others.

The Vikings would be happy if in a few seasons Bridgewater is still being compared to some of the quarterbacks on that list.
