The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Boston Celtics 114-98 Friday night.

It was an interesting game for both teams. Earlier in the day Minnesota traded Corey Brewer to the Houston Rockets, while the Celtics sent Rajon Rondo to Dallas.

In the fourth quarter, leading by three at 95-92 the Celtics pulled away with a late run that locked up the win.

Boston shot a blistering 56 percent from the floor and used a balanced attack with six players in double figures.

Kelly Olynyk led the way, he scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jeff Green chipped in 18 points with seven boards and three other Celtics added 14.

Shabazz Muhammed led the Wolves with 26, he was 11-of-15 shooting. Chase Budinger added 19, while knocking down three from behind the arc.

It was a rough night for Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins was just 2-of-10 shooting and scored just five points.

Minnesota trailed by five at the half, but battled to stay in the game until the late run by the Celtics put it away.

The Wolves (5-20) return to the Target Center to face Indiana Sunday evening.
