Charles Barkley booed after telling fans at Katy Perry show: 'The Timberwolves suck'

I mean ... he's not wrong.
Publish date:

Charles Barkley was in a bad mood on Sunday, and he let it out on the people of Minnesota.

Taking to the stage at the Katy Perry show at The Armory, Barkley was interviewed a day after his beloved Auburn lost in the Final Four to eventual champions Virginia.

It all started so nicely as well, with Barkley – in town as a CBS analyst for the Final Four – saying how much he loved Minneapolis.

But it quickly turned sour when he shifted his attention to the Minnesota Timberwolves, telling the thousands in attendance that "The Timberwolves suck!"

Cue boos from the audience.

Look Charles, you're not wrong. In fact you'll be hard-pressed to find a genuine Timberwolves fan who would argue with you.

But it's OUR job to say the Timberwolves suck.

The Wolves are finishing their season this week, currently standing with an extremely disappointing 36-44 record after reaching the playoffs last year.
