Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle will miss 3-4 weeks with a sprained knee, the team announced Sunday night.

To take Coyle's roster spot, Minnesota has recalled left wing Jason Zucker.

Coyle was understandably upset, according to Michael Russo of the Star Tribune, but maintained a positive attitude.

Coyle sustained the injury in the second period of Minnesota's overtime loss to Anaheim Saturday.

Zucker was assigned to Minnesota's AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, just over a week ago.

Minnesota has lost each of their first two games, but have claimed points in each of them, also losing in a shootout in their season-opener Thursday.
