Cut down day: Vikings begin trimming roster to 53
The final 53 man roster is starting to take shape as the Minnesota Vikings began the process of cutting their roster on Friday.
The team needs to get down to the leagues mandated number by Saturday.
Names of a few players left off the roster started to trickle out late this afternoon. Among them is quarterback Brad Sorensen, who was cut for the second time this week.
