After suffering an ankle injury in last week's loss to the Cardinals, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook did not practice on Friday, leaving his status for Sunday's pivotal home opener against the Seahawks up in the air.
Cook also missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, though he did tell the media this week that he would be "good" to play Sunday. Head coach Mike Zimmer suggested the same.
“Dalvin’s a tough guy,” Zimmer said earlier this week. “If he can’t play, there’s a reason why he’s not playing. But he makes us go, so we’re going to continue to play him.”
Officially, Cook is questionable on the injury report. Meanwhile, Anthony Barr, Harrison Hand and Christian Darrisaw are out.
Inactive players will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday.
