Peyton Manning is headed back to the Super Bowl, but a different horse is on his helmet this time around.

In his second season with the Denver Broncos after spending the first 14 years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, Manning got Denver over the hump today, with a 26-16 win over the New England Patriots.

Manning and the Broncos were eliminated in the NFC Divisional Playoffs last year thanks to an overtime loss to Baltimore, but Manning threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns Sunday as the Bronco offense scored on every one of their drives aside from the first and last.

Former Gopher wide receiver Eric Decker caught five balls for 73 yards and served as the kick returner in the game, while Demaryius Thomas led Denver in receiving, catching seven for 134 yards.

The Broncos will face the winner of Seahawks-49ers in two weeks for the Super Bowl XLVIII crown.
