Minnesota Timberwolves 105

Toronto Raptors 114

The Toronto Raptors won their ninth straight home game as they pull away from the Timberwolves for a 114-105 victory Wednesday night.

1. Turning it over in Toronto

Second-half turnovers led to the downfall of the Timberwolves. Minnesota turned it over just 13 times in the game, but 10 of those came in the second half.

They coughed it up a couple of times late in the fourth quarter, allowing the Raptors to get some key defensive stops and pull away.

The Wolves haven't won a game in Toronto in more than 12 years.

2. Raptors catch fire in fourth

Toronto caught fire from behind the arc during the decisive fourth quarter. They finished the game 10-of-26 from the three-point line, but DeMar Derozan and Kyle Lowry hit a couple of big shots late to open it up.

Derozan finished with 31 points on the night, while Lowry added 21.

3. Dynamic duo inside

Karl-Anthony Towns has been the talk of the town all season for the Timberwolves, but it's the continued solid play from Gorgui Dieng that has Wolves fans howling now.

While Towns went for 16 points and six boards, Dieng was a model of efficiency on offense. He finished 8-of-9 from the floor, and 5-of-6 from the free throw line to score 21 points.

Over his last 11 games, Dieng has posted eight double-doubles and is averaging nearly 17 points a game.
