Doleman elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame, Carter falls short

The National Football League announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2012 Saturday afternoon. Former Vikings defensive end and linebacker Chris Doleman is one of the six players selected for induction. He is the 11th Viking to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio. Former Vikings wide receiver Cris Carter was also eligible, but was denied until at least next year.

Former Vikings defensive end Chris Doleman was the third of six players inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame Saturday in Canton, Ohio.
