Don't look now, but Marian Gaborik leads the NHL in playoff goals

Hey, Wild fans, remember that guy named Marian Gaborik? You know, one of those guys that "got away."

He was a four-time All-Star during his eight-year career with the Wild (2000-2008) before signing a free-agent contract with the New York Rangers in 2009. His first three years with the Rangers were great. He was almost always healthy and he piled up 105 goals.

Gaborik's 2012 season was injury-plagued and he was eventually traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, who turned around and dealt Gaborik to the Los Angeles Kings on deadline day a couple of months ago.

Fast forward to today and Gaborik is again healthy and completely dominating in the most important way – clutch playoff scoring.

On Saturday, Gaborik scored the game-tying goal with seven seconds left in regulation, then the game-winning goal a few minutes into the overtime period in the Kings' Game 1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

He wasn't done. The 32-year-old struck quickly in Game 2 on Monday night, firing a puck by Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller just 34 seconds into the opening period. Here's the video from Pro Hockey Talk.

According to the NHL, Gaborik now leads the league in the playoffs with six goals. Overall, he has 11 goals in just 28 games with the Kings.
