The Timberwolves returned to their losing ways Friday night, falling to the Suns 110-99 in Phoenix.
After a first half in which neither team played a lot of defense, the Suns separated themselves from the Wolves in the third, pushing a three-point half time lead out to 11 by the end of the quarter.
The Suns shot 55 percent from the floor, and grabbed 15 offensive rebounds in the game as they controlled the glass.
Goran Dragic led the way for Phoenix with 21. He also dished out eight assists in the contest. Just as he did in their last meeting, Gerald Green knocked down some big shots, finishing with 19 points.
Green led a Phoenix bench that scored 52 points in the game.
The Wolves remain the only NBA team without a two-game winning streak this season.
The Wolves (6-32) will play in Denver on Saturday night.
