The Minnesota Twins game on Tuesday was delayed due to a drone flying over the field.

According to the announcers, who said this was a first, the umpires pulled the teams off the field because the drone presented a player safety issue.

The delay, which lasted about 10 minutes, happened in the top of the 5th inning when the Twins were leading the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-1.
