Duensing to start Saturday in Cincinnati
Brian Duensing will be the 10th player to start for the Twins when he takes the mound Saturday in Cincinnati. The left-hander struggled last season as a starter, but combined to go 12-3 with an ERA of 2.93 in 22 starts between 2009 and 2010. Duensing says he just wants to give the team "a chance to win."

The Oakland A's completed a three-game sweep over the Twins with a 9-4 victory at Target Field Sunday. The A's knocked Brian Duensing out of the game with three home runs in the second inning. The Twins are now 16 games under .500 and 13 games out in the AL Central.

Following a drubbing Friday night in Cleveland, the Minnesota Twins got back at the Indians with a 7-4 win Saturday night at Progressive Field. Trevor Plouffe homered for the Twins in the sixth to break a 4-4 tie and Joe Mauer hit a two-run shot in the seventh to seal the victory.
