Eduardo Escobar hit a home run in the top of the 10th inning for the only run of the night and the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Indians 1-0 at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

It was Escobar's first home run of the season and led the Twins to the victory.

It was the third straight victory for the Twins and has moved them to .500 on the season. Escobar's heroics wouldn't have been possible without a great performance from Twins' starter Kyle Gibson.

Gibson pitched seven innings of two hit baseball. He didn't give up a run, walked three and struck out one. It was the fourth straight start that Twins' pitchers have put up a strong performance.

Relievers Brian Duensing and Caleb Thielbar kept the Indians off the scoreboard in the eighth and ninth, as Thielbar picked up the victory.

Glenn Perkins pitched a perfect 10th inning to put the game away.
