Fargo cancer center gets check from N.Y. Yankees to honor Roger Maris

The Yankees marked the 50th anniversary of Maris' record-setting home run by donating $5,000 to Sanford's Roger Maris Cancer Center. Maris was born in Minnesota and grew up in Fargo before starring with the Yankees. He died of cancer in 1985.
