A Fargo hockey team has unveiled a jersey designed to honor fallen officer Jason Moszer.

Moszer was shot and killed while responding to a call in February.

The Fargo Force released an image of the jersey – which was designed by the Fargo Police Department, Moszer's family and the Fargo Force – on Monday.

There's a police crest on the front of the jersey with Officer Mozser's call number E143 on it. The team notes the number has been retired following his death.

The jerseys also have the police department's logo embroidered on the shoulders and the phrase "Heroes are never forgotten" at the bottom.

They'll be worn during Heroes are Never Forgotten Night on March 11, honoring the fallen officer. The Force will take on the Des Moines Buccaneers at Scheels Arena. That's also where the officer's public funeral service took place.

Fans will have a chance to bid on the jerseys beginning at 7:05 p.m., when the game begins.

Bidding will start at $125 per jersey and the bids must go up in $10 increments. The auction will run until March 17 at 2 p.m. Winners will have a chance to get their jersey autographed.

All proceeds from the auction will go back to the Moszer family. Additionally, there will be a silent auction at the game in the upper lobby, and the Force will donate $3 of every game ticket sold.

Moszer was married and had two children.
