A Hennepin County judge has dismissed a felony charge against the brother of ex-Wild player Derek Boogaard, who died of a drug overdose in May. Aaron Boogaard was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Boogaard still faces a misdemeanor charge for allegedly flushing evidence down a toilet.

Aaron Boogaard admitted to interfering with the crime scene by flushing his brother's drugs down the toilet after reporting his brother's death to 911 emergency officials in May. Aaron Boogard received two years probation and 80 hours of community service.
