"Transformers" film star Josh Duhamel will apparently be at Mall of America Field at the Metrodome Sunday to make some noise for the Vikings.

The Minot, N.D., native and Minnesota pro sports fan announced why he'll be at the game on his Twitter account.

Duhamel, 39, starred as military man Lennox in all three "Transformers" movies, the hit romantic comedy "Life as We Know It" and the NBC television series "Las Vegas." His upcoming film slate includes "Safe Haven," based on the best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks.

There's no word whether Duhamel's wife, Black-Eyed Peas singer Fergie, will join him for the game.
