Miami TV station WTVJ reports that ex-Minnesota Viking Bryant McKinnie has been sued for $375,000 by a strip club manager who says he loaned the money to McKinnie over 19 months in 2009-10.
Charles “Pop” Young filed suit against the current Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle for the money on Monday, the station reports.
McKinnie took a $1 million pay cut to stay in Baltimore this past offseason and earns a $2.2 million salary, the Pioneer Press reports.
McKinnie has made headlines for his off-field activities before, the Pioneer Press notes. He was arrested in 2008 after a fight outside a Miami nightclub. McKinnie was a football star in college for the Miami Hurricanes.
McKinnie was also involved in the infamous 2005 "Love Boat" incident in which Vikings players on a Lake Minnetonka cruise partied with strippers, sex toys and excessive amounts of alcohol.
