You know that old saying – "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

That certainly seems to be true for fans of Bud Grant. Minnesotans have flocked to his huge, semi-annual garage sales for many years. Now at 90 years old, the former Vikings coach says his upcoming sale will be his last.

"I'm running out of stuff," Grant joked to the Pioneer Press.

This year, he'll be promoting the sale with a special collectible – a bobblehead in his likeness.

Grant told the paper that people have suggested he make a bobblehead for years. He finally broke down and decided to have some made as advertisement for his last sale.

"You’ve got to have a hook. You can’t just say, ‘Come to my garage sale and buy baby clothes'."

He'll have about 200 bobbleheads – the price of which is yet to be determined. They'll feature Grant next to his late hunting dog Boom, who died of cancer last fall.

NBC Sports says Grant's sales typically feature a bunch of hunting and fishing gear, as well as Vikings and NFL memorabilia. He refuses to barter over the prices of his items, and allows anyone who comes along to dig through his stuff, the site notes.

You can read more about the upcoming sale in the Pioneer Press story.

And check out this short NFL Film about Grant's legendary garage sales.

The final sale is scheduled for May 17-19 at Grant's home in Bloomington – 8134 Oakmere Drive.
