The Minnesota Twins have called up another one of their top prospects.

Minnesota called up outfielder Max Kepler after he and the Chattanooga Lookouts won the Southern League championship on Monday.

According to the Star Tribune, Kepler homered again on Monday night – his third homer of the five-game series.

Kepler, 22, was named the Southern League Player of the Year after hitting .322 with nine home runs and 71 RBIs. He also had 32 doubles and 13 triples on the year.

He played some outfield and first base for the Lookouts this season. According to the Pioneer Press, Kepler received an $800,000 signing bonus as a 16-year-old prospect out of Germany.

Kepler also was on championship teams at rookie-level Elizabethton (2012) and Class A Fort Myers (2014).

He will join some of the other top Twins prospects in Minnesota. Slugger Miguel Sano and outfielders Byron Buxton and Eddie Rosario have already been playing in the Minnesota lineup.

Sano has a chance to be the American League Rookie of the Year with the way he's impacted the team since his call up.
