Joe Mauer wasn't kidding around when he said Monday that his third baby could arrive any day now.

Mauer's wife, Maddie, gave birth to the couple's third child on Wednesday, a healthy baby boy named Charles Joseph Mauer.

Mauer, who has an April birthday, was 18 years old when the Twins selected him first overall in the June 2001 MLB Draft. That means baby Charlie, if he follows in dad's footsteps, will be the first pick as a 17 year old in the 2036 draft, or maybe as an 18 year old in the 2037 draft.

It all depends on what grade Mauer is in, but that's beside the point. Congrats to the Mauers on their growing family.

And to baby Chuck, this a photo of your old man letting it loose in Puerto Rico.
