KG on if he would like to finish his career with Wolves: 'Next question'

A reporter asked Kevin Garnett this morning if he would ever consider finishing his career with the Timberwolves.

"Next question," Garnett said while staring at the Target Center floor.

We'll take that as a NO.

Anyway, tonight could end up being KG's last basketball stop in Minnesota.

Michael Rand of the Star Tribune is calling it Garnett's "swan song" in Minnesota. At 37-years-old, Garnett's numbers have sharply declined to the point where he's averaging just 6.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in 23 minutes per game with the Nets.

No matter how KG is performing, it's always a spectacle when he comes back to the state that he called home for 12 seasons (1995-2007).

“It’s always good to come back to Minnesota,” Garnett said Target Center floor on Friday, via the Star Tribune. “The Twin Cities have always been like a second or third home. Always enjoyed the fans here.”

Garnett averaged 20.5 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a Wolf. Kevin Love, the new sheriff in Minnesota, has career averages of 17.7 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

"Kevin Love is in an unbelievable groove," Garnett said. "I think he and (Ricky) Rubio are one of the best one-two punches in our league."

The groove Garnett was in while a member of the Wolves was incredible.... so it will be fun to see if he can relive some old memories tonight.

"I played in this building before for countless years," he said. "I hope that I at least make a couple of shots in this place."
