It's the middle of summer so not everyone's mind is on hockey, but Aaron Huglen has Golden Gophers fans salivating after he scored an incredible goal for Team USA this past week.

Huglen, a Roseau, Minnesota native, picked up the puck with his stick and scored an amazing, lacrosse-style goal to give the U.S. a 2-1 lead over Canada in the first period of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Huglen had 23 goals and 13 assists in 23 games with Roseau High School last season. He committed to the Gophers last August and will play his senior year of high school in the United States Hockey League with the Fargo Force.
