Gophers beat UMD 5-4, sweep the series
The Minnesota Gophers claimed a series-sweep against Duluth Saturday after nearly blowing a three-goal lead late in the game.
The Bulldogs weren't short on chances, netting over 50 shots on goal.
The Gophers leave Duluth with two-straight wins over the defending national champions and a tremendous amount of confidence.
UP NEXT: Minnesota will host Vermont at Mariucci Arena. The Bulldogs will look to rebound at Providence College Friday.
