The Gopher hockey team had no trouble with Michigan on Saturday night, as the Gophers skated to a 4-1 victory at Mariucci Arena.
Four unanswered goals by the Gophers dashed an early Wolverine lead and sent the Gophers to the victory.
Trailing 1-0, after an early goal from the Wolverines, Sam Warning pulled the Gophers even at the 17:46 mark of the first period.
Fasching put the game on ice for Minnesota with his goal in the third, giving Minnesota the 4-1 lead.
Gopher goalie Adam Wilcox played well again for Minnesota. After giving up the early goal, Wilcox was outstanding stopping 28 shots on the night.
The Gophers have a nearly two-week break before they host Penn State on Feb. 28.
