Gophers move up to 24th in latest AP Poll

The Gophers open against Michigan on Oct. 24.

The Minnesota Gopher football team moved up a spot in the latest Associated Press poll, making their way up to 24th in the latest edition released on Sunday afternoon.

The Gophers join No. 6 Ohio State, No. 9 Penn State, No. 16 Wisconsin, and No. 19 Michigan as Big Ten teams in the rankings.

Minnesota's wait to build off the momentum from its 2019 season has two more weeks before it hosts Michigan on October 24.

If the AP poll is any indication, Gopher fans have plenty to look forward to even in a truncated season.
