Gophers prep for Michigan, injured star QB Robinson
Fresh from a big win over Purdue, the University of Minnesota football team is preparing to play a big home game against Michigan on Saturday. The big question looming over game preparations is whether star Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson will play, the Star Tribune reports.
Michigan is nothing without its star quarterback, the Detroit Free Press' Jeff Seidel says.
Robinson went out late in the first half against Nebraska with an elbow injury, USA Today reported. Freshman backup Russell Bellomy came in and threw three interceptions. After the injury, Robinson couldn't even grip the ball, but there has been no word yet as to his prognosis.
If Robinson does not play, here are some of the offensive stars who will have to step up, Bleacher Report says.
The Gophers are savoring its first conference win and are gunning for one more win to give the team bowl eligibility, SB Nation reports.
