Graduation rates for U of M student athletes at record high

Gopher student-athletes have posted a Graduation Success Rate of 83 percent, a record high for the University of Minnesota. The University of Minnesota's GSR, released by the NCAA, is up 3 percent over last year.

Gopher student-athletes have posted a Graduation Success Rate of 83 percent, a record high for the University of Minnesota, KARE-TV reported.

The information was released this week in the NCAA'S 2012 GSR report, which represents data from first-time freshmen, student-athletes who entered at mid-year and student-athletes who transferred into the U of M between 2002 and 2005.

The U of M's GSR is up 3 percentage reports from last year's report.

U of M struggles getting students to Gopher games
