Greenway to the Pro Bowl

Vikings tackle leader Chad Greenway is going to his first Pro Bowl. The nod comes as the linebacker is enjoying a personal best 174 tackles in 2011.

Greenway expected to be at mini-camp

The pucks were flying at Greenway goalie Erikur Arnason this weekend. He made 73 saves in a 4-2 win at Virginia-Mountain Iron-Buhl Saturday night. That’s one short of the prep state record, set in 2006.

Greenway played with extra motivation Sunday

Sunday's Vikings game carried extra meaning for linebacker Chad Greenway. His father has been dealing with complications from leukemia, but was able to attend the game and watch Greenway finish with 13 tackles and two sacks. Greenway said he "wanted it to be special" and he's glad they won the game.

Allen, Greenway hope to shine in Pro Bowl

The Vikings' two representatives in the NFL Pro Bowl, Jared Allen and Chad Greenway, are in Hawaii to play on the NFC squad. They might not be much of a factor, though, since football's annual All-Star game is usually a high-scoring affair.
