Griffen returns to practice after mother's death
Vikings Defensive end Everson Griffen returned to the practice field Friday, just two days after his mother died unexpectedly during a visit to the Twin Cities. Also on the field were receivers Percy Harvin and Jerome Simpson and running back Adrian Peterson for a light, non-padded workout. Not practicing are linebacker Marvin Mitchell for a calf injury and safety Mistral Raymond who’s still recovering from an ankle injury.
