It was lights out for Grinnell College (Iowa) guard Jack Taylor Tuesday night. He scored 138 points in a 179-104 Division III victory over Faith Baptist Bible, setting a new NCAA record at Darby Gymnasium.

Taylor -- who took a shot every 20 seconds -- had 58 points at halftime.

A bit buried in the Associated Press story of the game, was the efforts of Faith Baptist's David Larson.

He had 70 points in the losing effort, which makes for an ultra-rare box score.

What did it look like? Here's a YouTube video of the final minutes:

Grinnell College is in Grinnell, Iowa, east of Des Moines.
