Here are the remaining undefeated Minnesota high school football teams

Only five teams are unbeaten in the big school class (Class 6A).

And just like that the 2019 high school football season has reached the midway point of the regular season. Four games in, and there are only a handful of undefeated teams remaining in Minnesota's biggest class.

Class 6A: 5 undefeated

Lakeville North, Cretin-Derham Hall, Mounds View, Wayzata, Eden Prairie.

All five are ranked in the top six of last week's Associated Press Top-10 poll, with defending champion Lakeville North sitting at No. 1, followed by Eden Prairie (#2), Wayzata (#3), Cretin-Derham Hall (#5) and Mounds View (#6).

Class 5A: 6 undefeated

Owatonna, St. Thomas Academy, Tartan, Robbinsdale Armstrong, Elk River, Bemidji.

The top five won't change this week as Owatonna (#1), STA (#2), Elk River (#3), Bemidji (#4) and Armstrong (#5) all cemented wins to move to 4-0 on the season. Armstrong beat #6 Chaska, so Tartan (#7) should jump up one spot in the AP Top 10.

Class 4A: 10 undefeated

Winona, Hutchinson, Marshall, Simley, St. Anthony Village, Fridley, Benilde-St. Margaret's, Mound Westonka, SMB, Detroit Lakes.

Two of last week's undefeated teams ranked in the top 10 lost in Week 4, so there could be some moving and shaking when the new rankings are released. Sitting atop the Class 4A top 10 are SMB and Hutchinson, with Winona likely to take the #3 spot after Delano lost.

Class 3A: 12 undefeated

Stewartville, Jackson County Central, Breck, Cannon Falls, Annandale, Mora, Albany, Pierz, New London-Spicer, Minnewaska, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, Perham.

Class 2A: 10 undefeated

Caledonia, Lewiston-Altura, Blue Earth Area, Minneapolis North, Concordia Academy, West Central Area/Ashby, Staples-Motley, Moose Lake-Willow River, Crosby-Ironton, Barnesville.

Class 1A: 11 undefeated

Blooming Prairie, Randolph, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrow, United South Central, Springfield, Mayer Lutheran, Upsala/Swanville Area, BOLD, Minneota, Dawson-Boyd, Carlton/Wrenshall, Mahnomen/Waubun.

Class 9-Man: 11 undefeated

LeRoy-Ostrander, Southland, Renville County West, Ogilvie, Mountain Lake Area, Hancock, Brandon-Evansville, Win-E-Mac, Blackduck, North Central, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo.
